When pearls fell against the sky
Like stars in the after-images behind our eyes
When bright lights flash and lightning strikes
And glory unearthed flies free into the clouds,

When the rain fell like tears
And when heaven opened up when Michael wept
When our sins were washed away and then remade
When we walked another path paved by diamonds,

When we flew on silver wings beside the angels
Always imperceptible in clouds of red and blue
When the choirs struck our hearts with golden needles
And their lips drew out our tears to make the rain,

When heaven touches earth that is not when life ends;
In truth life begins only when we die
And so soon we will all become imperceptible;
Only to fall asleep again, to the sound of angel wings.

i really did. Im not sure if many people would agree with what im about to say, but i think that it is harder to maintain a good standard of poetry than art. The ability to write amazing poetry is something that i cannot hang onto, it comes and goes. But you seem to almost get better with each new venture. Keep it up, i love your work!
